Service and Maintenance

In this section, you will find important notes on service and maintenance, as well as the procedures to follow at the end of the product's life cycle.

User Support

Clinical Science Systems is committed to providing user support as needed. A maintenance contract can be established, which will outline guaranteed arrangements pertaining to maintenance services.

Maintenance

The hardware does not require regular inspections or calibrations. A system administrator may be granted additional privileges beyond those of a standard user. It is essential that the system administrator possesses competence in network management, database handling, and Linux software. A maintenance contract is advisable to ensure ongoing support, and Clinical Science Systems will conduct periodic inspections.

Serviceable Parts

For guidance on usage and customer support, please consult the instructions provided and contact Clinical Science Systems if you encounter any issues during setup or initial operation. They offer assistance with setup and can address any inquiries you may have.

There are no user-serviceable parts inside; do not attempt any repairs!

Product Liability

Clinical Science Systems assumes responsibility for the safe and proper operation of the NeuroCenter® EEG, contingent upon the following conditions:

  • Installation, modification, maintenance, calibration, or repairs are carried out by individuals authorized by Clinical Science Systems;

  • The electrical installation adheres to applicable installation standards;

  • The NeuroCenter® EEG is utilized in accordance with the provided instructions for use.

When connecting an electrical device to the system, users must ensure that the hardware or software has been approved by Clinical Science Systems. The use of unapproved devices may compromise the safety of NeuroCenter® EEG.

Cleaning

When cleaning the screen, exercise caution. Begin by wiping the product with a clean, soft, and dry cloth, with a microfiber cloth being the preferred option. If necessary, a damp cloth may be used to clean the screen. To do this, wet a soft, dry cloth with water and wring it out thoroughly. Avoid using cleaning solutions or abrasive cloths, as they may damage the touch screen. Do not spray cleaning solutions directly onto the touch screen, as this may lead to moisture seeping into the device. Regular cleaning of the screen is recommended.

End-of-Life

When NeuroCenter® EEG becomes outdated and no longer meets user requirements, it may either be upgraded or decommissioned. Clinical Science Systems will oversee the disassembly and environmentally responsible disposal of the device, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.
